Why I'm Dumb

So the blogging thing was going pretty well for awhile. Some of the stuff I wrote was interesting. Some of the stuff I wrote was funny. We had a slight mishap with the whole carpet entry (oh, sweet regret), but I'm back on top again. Whatever that means.

Regardless, I was feeling sassy one day when I logged in to the blog site and when the offer to get paid to run Google ads on my blog came up, I couldn't resist. It seemed simple. Allow Google to put ads on your blog that deal with your specific blog content, and for each click from a faithful reader (aka you), I'd get some pennies. I figured by Christmas I could get a crisp $5.00 bill.

Then my lack of follow-through kicked in. They wanted me to enter in my tax information. I immediately gave up. Nevermind, I thought. Who needs a crisp $5.00 bill by Christmas? I'll just remove the ads and go back to ad-free blog bliss.

And now I can't figure out how to get rid of them. Those tricky bastards at Google. They're clever. They know I can't understand HTML and now they are running their stupid carpet shampooer ads (that dumb carpet entry haunts me again) on my Blog, free-of-charge.

So what's a dumb girl to do? Complain about it in her blog, that's what.
